Bikers Bring Toys To Ill Children

Al Ain - It was a special delivery for the young patients in the Tawam Hospital children's ward yesterday as hundreds of toys arrived to put smiles on little faces; courtesy of the Abu Dhabi Exiles Motorcycle Club.

More than 80 bikers made the journey to the hospital with as many toys as could be carried or strapped to their motorcycles for the club's annual toy run.

Soft toys and games were handed out to children receiving cancer treatment at Tawam, and the bikers in their leathers and club T-shirts, stopped for a visit with each child.

The Exiles M.C. has more than 100 members of more than 20 nationalities, and is the only club in the region open to riders of all makes and styles of bike.

Last year the club visited Al Wasel Hospital in Dubai.
